Description:

The FC-SAl-1620M analog input module is designed to offer sixteen safe analog input channels (0-4V) compliant with SlL3 safety class as per lEC61508 standards. It is ideal for applications requiring high-density and high-safety analog input solutions. Controlled by the Safety Manager Controller, it performs self-tests to ensure absolute accuracy, correct conversion over the full range, checks for crosstalk between inputs, channel input filters,and internal supply voltages.

The Honeywell FC-SAI-1620M is a 16-channel analog input module for the Safety Manager system. It provides 24 VDC power to each channel and accepts 0(4)-20 mA input signals. The module is mounted in a card cage and can be configured to monitor a variety of process variables, such as temperature, pressure, and flow.

FSC provides a dual redundant fault-tolerant controller for safety and shutdown applications on the TPS system's Universal Control Network (UCN). These safety functions are integrated into the architecture to support unified operations and control, while at the same time providing the ability to isolate emergency shutdown (ESD) functions from process control strategies on a separate safety network.
